Most indoor pools are so dimly lit it is difficult to get an action shot with available light. This particular pool is located next to large windows that allow outside light to supplement the artificial lighting. And the diving well is on the side closest to the windows. Perfect.F3.5 at 1/500th, lens at 50mm, ISO 1250.
I was able to get decent photos during warm-ups before the swim meet. The outside light was gone by the time the actual diving competition began.
